The commercial and retail sector includes shopping centres and small businesses located in urban developed areas. With expanding populations, existing infrastructure is under pressure with increased loading from water and energy usage and waste generated from the businesses. SSI has worked with a number of shopping centres to audit water consumption, opportunities for improvement and evaluation of wastewater treatment and the long term demand on future demand.
